Teaching

I have taught creative writing, life writing and journalism over many years at colleges and universities, in the UK and abroad, including Guardian Masterclasses, City Lit, Skyros, Birkbeck College (University of London), London South Bank University, London School of Journalism, Geneva Writers Conference, Arvon Foundation, British Council, Pen To Print, Mary Ward Centre, Bishopsgate Institute, Winchester University, the Association of Jewish Refugees, and the Second Generation Network.

I have participated in literary festivals (readings, talks and workshops) and have also been mentor, editor and consultant for individual projects. Do get in touch for further information.

I also run an occasional, one-day Family History Writing Course
